A Warbling Vireo sings from mixed pine-oak along the edge of the mesa. It was the only one I heard singing today. Rather messy background includes: Greater Pewee, Grace’s Warbler, Hepatic Tanager, Scott’s Oriole. Recorded using a Fostex FR-2LE with a Sennheiser ME62 & Telinga Universal 22" parabola.
Observation details
Fewer migrants than yesterday, but we were only on mesa flats; several were singing a bit;
