Media notes
Spontaneous songs & calls of two different Brown Creepers, the first from near top of a tall sunlit pine, the second from closer by—also in a pine. Background includes: White-striped Woodcreeper, Plumbeous Vireo, Dusky-capped Flycatcher, Greater Pewee, American Robin, et al. I suppressed 0-700Hz to reduce interference from nearby transmission lines. Recorded using a Fostex FR-2LE with a Sennheiser ME62 & Telinga Universal 22" parabola.
Observation details
At least 2 were singing regularly and calling frequently; in pines on mesa flats
