Media notes
Songs from perch and then a flight song (after call notes; at ca. 40”); male then perched again after being joined by a female. At the end they flew away together. This is in pine-oak atop the Mesa Campanero. Background includes: Olive Warbler, Plumbeous Vireo, Greater Pewee, Grace’s Warbler. Recorded using a Fostex FR-2LE with a Sennheiser ME62 & Telinga Universal 22" parabola.
Observation details
Two singing at length, from crowns of pines; mostly staying on one perch, one giving a flight song when it moved to eventually chase/interact with another; others calling and interacting as pairs;
