Media notes
increased 4+3 or 7 dB total. Baby chicks being fed in chimney periodically throughout day, probably more than 3.
Observation details
Conservative estimate would be at least 3 chicks in chimney, and at least 5 adults were then flying around outside. Probably way more. Just couldn't see them to know for sure but counted at least 5 fast flying adults above our house outside, right after I took sound recording of one of their feedings in my parents' chimney inside from fireplace, and although couldn't see them, know there were more than two chirping chicks up in there, possibly more than one nest, as they kept having random chirp sessions throughout the day in my parents' chimney, which they come to every year for migration, so must like their chimney so much, decided to have a nest in there. (Brick chimney, old school kind, perfect to cling their bodies to the walls). Photos are too small to get good look at adults outside, but see photos, and also see attached sound recording for the chick feeding sounds. (The sound is not like when they migrate, and arrive for evening roost, or wakeup chatter, as it sounded like far fewer in there but really excited, and was ongoing periodically throughout the whole day, so I am presuming they have some chicks, and the parents were zipping around all day and going in and out of there, probably to feed chicks).
