Media notes
A female-plumaged, presumed first-year male, Olive Warbler sings from pines near the rim of the Mesa Campanero, on a trail away from the road. Background includes: Greater Pewee singing & calling, Grace’s Warbler, Painted Redstart, Am. Robin, and another Olive Warbler calling in the distance. Recorded using a Fostex FR-2LE with a Sennheiser ME62 & Telinga Universal 22" parabola.
Observation details
Singing a bit early near the close edge of the mesa; then strongly along a trail to the far edge of the mesa amid pine-oak woodland (beyond orchard area)
