Media notes
Calls of a close male Olive Warbler from pines atop the Mesa Campanero after playback of some pygmy-owl mobbing. He seemed to be searching for the owl. Background includes: White-breasted Nuthatch, Spotted Towhee song, Greater Pewee calls. Recorded using a Fostex FR-2LE with a Sennheiser ME62 & Telinga Universal 22" parabola.
Observation details
Singing a bit early near the close edge of the mesa; then strongly along a trail to the far edge of the mesa amid pine-oak woodland (beyond orchard area)
