Observation details
(33.7049579, -118.0032824) Approx. location, foraging on mudflats at edge of stream. When seen, the best point of view was on the north side of the stream. First heard the metallic chip note, and located a few minutes later at about 9:40AM. Note: park was quiet today, and this individual was unusually cooperative for the species. Photos.
