Media notes
NOWA first on recording, COYE towards end
Observation details
Photos and recordings tba. Brownish backed warbler, heavily streaked below with yellowish tinge overall, , buffy supercilium, bobbed several times. Found at bridge over creek where Eric Heisey reported it last evening (thanks Eric!). Was recording COYE when Merlin alerted me to its metallic chip. It flew up from under the bridge on the downstream side then went back into the dense vegetation. (Perhaps the NOWA from Chelan County that Debbie Sutherland found on the 26th working its way south?) I saw it one more time at the same location about 2 hours later when Carol Riddell arrived, and we both got good looks. Lifer for me.
