Observation details
A total of eight birds observed over a period of half an hour. Feeding in wet grassy and muddy areas below trees in the park. Five adults and three juveniles. Observed feeding on earthworms which were slowly pulled from the soil in the same manner as a Blackbird. Really tame and easily approachable, videos and photos taken. Iconic bird, so difficult to see in Malaysia and so easy here in the middle of a busy city.
