Observation details
This observation is only from call and song. I was at far end of Table Mountain over looking some large snow fields and snowmelt ponds. There was a lot of activity down there. Mainly Pipits and Juncos but I heard an unfamiliar song. I had Merlin running as I walked up and sat at edge of cliff side. I got a super short clip of the bird sing after trimming out all my footsteps. Merlin says it was a Horned Lark. I’ve never heard them before so this is an observation relying on technology that is not always accurate. I’m hoping for a reviewer to check out the audio. It’s kind of a weak way to observe a rarity, but I’m more curious than anything. Flagged-rare/infrequent
