Observation details

Pleasant surprise! Spooked up from a wet area in the pasture onto the fence with an Eastern Phoebe while I was measuring fence. Of course the first thought was Palm Warbler, until it turned into clear view. Very drab Waterthrush, with an almost gray-green eyebrow, and a very gray breast. Tail bobbing was in a “U” shape (poor cell phone video to go along), and the bird was quite erratic. After spinning around many times on the fence for a minute, the bird flew down to the creek.
