Observation details
Storm blown by Hurricane Hillary. Small blackish-brown storm-petrel with rapid, bat-like flight interspersed with short glides. Large white rump that extended to flanks and close to tail tip. Tail slightly notched. Two birds seen together at first and then separate but simultaneously. Both birds spent time resting on water between attempting to feed on small fish.
