Observation details
NW pond. Initially misidentified as a LESA because it had a lot of light greenish algae stuff caked to its legs. However the bill seemed too large for a Least and the supercilium was awfully bright. Black legs, a bit of rufous in the back and crown, strong white supercilium, largish black bill that is slightly decurved. In flight, white rump is clear. Flushed from Sandoval County pond and did a lap around the Los Alamos County ponds before returning to the Sandoval pond.
