Observation details
*unusual, expected type, continuing influx. solo flyovers at 0614(m), 0712, 0736(m), 0741(m), 0821, male female pairs at 0733 and 0851, trios at 0755 (gritting) and 0806 (flyover), and a group of up to 6 observed feeding from 0807-0813 dwindling to just a pair for the last couple minutes. had a cool opportunity to study a few molts in real time with very close looks at a gritting trio. both males in the group appeared to be in a suspended prebasic molt with p1-p2 replaced on one and p1-p3 replaced on the other with no sign of any other flight feather replacement, my first time seeing this and super interesting
