Observation details
Continuing first state record found yesterday by Mary Keleher. Rather flighty, even with little or no provocation, occasionally disappearing for short stretches only to be refound further up or down the beach. Noticeably larger and with more of an upright posture than nearby SEPL. Field marks noted include thick pale-rufous breast band and sides of neck, bold white forehead suggestive of 'mongolus/stegmanni (Siberian)' subspecies group, short grayish bill and grayish legs, as well as white eyebrow and throat. First sighted around here: 41.5522900, -70.4981934 Last seen around here: 41.5536399, -70.4876429
