Observation details
Body shape more balanced front and back, not bulky in front like it swallowed a tennis ball. Breast and belly orange to buffy with fading to white caudally. Spots on upper sides of breasts, some faint barring on lower flanks. Lower eye rings not that prominent. Bills thick at base, straight overall, but tips had slightly bent part in some views. When flying, the tails were light overall. A preening bird gave good looks at its tail and it showed even white and black barring. In many that were suspected to be juveniles, there were fresh crisp rufous edges to scapulars and tertials had orange/dark tiger stripes. Heard mellow tu-tu-tu when flying.
