Observation details
south of the visitor parking, about 100 yards, right on the trail before the white utility bldg, (at 43.0904, -76.7639) there were two singing wrens with their distinctive songs; also saw very well and close by as it sang. A compact wren, less colorful than a Marsh wren, and in different habitat and song. Apparently these birds have been around for a couple of weeks in a later-summer breeding phase
