Observation details

I ran into one of the researchers studying the harriers, and he said that the male just arrived back here earlier in the afternoon from his migration from Kenya according to data from the geo-transmitter affixed to the bird's back (observable in photo). Wasted no time in engaging in an aerial courtship display flight for the female. Absolutely incredible.
