A Sinaloa Wren sings near a nest over the trail near the pools of running water in the Arroyo Santa Barbara barranca. Background includes: Fan-tailed Warbler, White-throated Thrush, Canyon Wren, & distant Sulphur-bellied Flycatcher. Recorded using a Fostex FR-2LE with a Sennheiser ME62 & Telinga Universal 22" parabola.
Observation details
Fairly common in Arroyo, with periodic song. RAR recorded a singing near a nest hanging right beside the trail—with a bit of a covered tunnel entrance.
