Observation details
At least thirty-two Mountain Bluebirds, a mixture of females and males, were seen in bushes, on some patches with bare ground and on the posts along the north side of back lane runs along northwest corner of A.E. Wilson Park, west of the parking lot just south of the community garden. Many of these Bluebirds were low to the ground or sitting on bushes & trees sheltering from the stiff wind from the southeast. After observing these birds for at least 5 minutes, the whole flock took flight heading to the northeast. Some Mountain Bluebirds did return to this location a couple of minutes later.
