NOTES: Neotropical Institute Cut # 15. Bulk reel: 77. Weather: Cloudy, fair. A bit of vocalization by a flying bird. Kept as the only confirming record for this form in this area so far. Quality: 3. Level: +5. 203 tape. Low noise. 1/VI/74 - 7:30 PM, practically dark, heard several birds flying above tall trees on north side of new clearing @ west end of the "dry" woods. "Song" same as @ Rancho Grande (and elsewhere for this form). 2/VI/74 - Was set up and prepared to record, assuming birds would be active in same place. However, birds were not heard until 7:35 PM and were @ SE area of clearing; they called very briefly and I managed to record only a bit. 4/VI/74 - In forested "upland" region SE of Rio Sta. Rosa (= R. Tucuco) x Rte. 6, just after dark but with ~ full moon, I heard calls of flying birds.
