Observation details
Only two cygnets remain. The female stayed with the young. The very aggressive male guarded the edges of the pond, hissing and biting at anything that came near. If nothing was within reach he would bite the bulkhead. Even the Canada geese feeding several feet from the edge provoked strikes to the bulkhead.
