A Curve-billed Thrasher sings shortly after dawn from cactus in the arid habitat along the road to the Chiculi Dam. Background includes: Verdin, Cactus Wren, White-winged Dove, Gambel’s Quail, Tropical Kingbird, Bell’s Vireo, Gila Woodpecker, & Yellow-breasted Chat. Recorded using a Fostex FR-2LE with a Sennheiser ME62 & Telinga Universal 22" parabola.
