Observation details

See audio. The bird was singing from an area with a diverse mix of trees: primarily paper birch, aspen, cottonwood and ponderosa pine. This section of the trail also has numerous American redstarts. The individual was rotating consistently among multiple perches, up into the pines higher up the slope, then back down into the cottonwoods and birch.
