Observation details
3 males and 3 females were observed and photographed in the Nubra Valley. Habitat - brownish Rocky outcrop, boulders and areas with sparse growth of Ephedra gerardiana (an high altitude plant sp with red coloured fruits/berries). During the observation period the rosefinches feeded on seeds of flowering plant sp. Singly and in pairs also alongside Great Rosefinches on the same plant. It also feeded on undigested seeds that were a by product of Alpine Chough's diet. Could not Id the plant sp as of now
