Media notes
Again, it's so noisy! - insect and mower throughout, a bit of Goldfinch at the end. (I dropped the gain in the middle when I say "Wow three," because otherwise it sounds like I'm shouting.) But this is cool, in the spectrogram you can see two "voices" (and briefly three) as they were screaming at each other.
Observation details
First heard, thought might be impersonation by a BLJA. Checked Merlin, said PEFA. Scanned sky, saw not one, but three slim bodied birds, with pointy wings w/sharp “elbow”s soaring and playing tag high up, directly overhead. These were all falcons. There was one Turkey Vulture in the sky nearby for comparison. They headed south. Photo and recordings.
