NOTES: Neotropical Institute Cut # 8. Bulk reel: 60 Weather: Fair. First - Two birds are heard (pair). Quality: 1. Level: 6. Second - One bird (with Limpkins in background in parts). Then two birds. Second bird is in background but then louder. Quality: 1. Level: 6. Third - Two birds, both loud. Quality: 1. Level: 6. In parts 2 & 3 birds excited by playback. In part 3 (also 2) the one bird gives a type of call quite different from anything I've heard otherwise from this species. Sound stimulation was (other): playback own vocalization.
