Observation details
Found by Michael Rieser in tall cottonwoods north of the river at the old Rancho Canada golf course, then south of river, then north of river again, and then south of river for another hour. The vireo was actively singing from high in the canopy [both Rita and Don taped it via iPhone, as did Rieser earlier], but it could be very hard to locate and view. It moved between tall cottonwoods every 10 minutes or so, would go silent for periods, and then start at a cottonwood in the distance. Loud song easy to hear despite moderately windy conditions. Several of us tried to take photos
