Observation details
Lifer!!!!!! We happened to meet up with Phil Bartley at the river delta and he told us about the Sabine's and we headed straight over. After a half an hour of searching we finally found the gray hooded gull floating down the river with a Glaucous-winged X Western Gull. Several Ring-billed Gulls were close and the gray hooded gull was definitely smaller. Observed through scope for almost two hours. Gray hood, black beak with yellow tip. Every time it floated close to the bridge, it would take off, fly out of sight and about five minutes later, we could see him floating down the river again. Flashy black, white and gray wings. Many photos both floating and flying.
