Observation details
Found the Black-bellied Whistling-Duck swimming on the pond. There were Wood Ducks nearby, but I didn't get the impression that the BBWD was associating with them. Not an especially cooperative bird: each time I approached it with the camera, it swam off. My photos show it on the water, but at one point it flew, showing bright pink feet and extensive white in the upperwing linings.
