Observation details
Heard one up high in the tamarisk behind the drip but never got eyes on it, saw one likely juv. at the drip., with warm patch on breast, downy but clean, pale feathers on sides, belly. Longer tail than LEGO, with white band framed by black on undertail. If I recall, juveniles were being reported early June and showed buffy streaks on the underparts. No streaks visible at this age, and patch on breast lacks yellow. Wing bars a faded buff tone with contrasting bright yellow on primary edges. The third one was above the AMGO, adult male with most of head obscured by branches - I was so focused on the AMGO that I missed him until I saw my photos. Adjusted count
