Observation details
A mystery hawk that I now believe is a light morph juvenile Broad-winged Hawk. Seemed small for Swainson's, Red-shouldered has more streaking across chest. This bird shows very limited streaking, only along the wings with a clean belly. Definitely not an accipiter, other hawks are to big and bulky. Would have happily traded this rarity for a pygmy-owl, but so it goes.
