Observation details
Pale brown head with dark chocolate body. Blue speculum with no white present in tail. Greenish bill with dark spot at the gape. Observed paired together on shoreline. Marked contrast in size and color with nearby Mallards in eclipse plumage. Thanks Patty and Michael for graciously stopping and pointing them out and letting the kids use your scopes to see them!
