NOTES: Neotropical Institute Cut # 17. Bulk reel: 45 a) A high-voiced bird singing naturally above curve. Another high- and a low-voiced bird heard in background. Quality: 1-2. Level: +5. b) After I played back a), that bird became silent but then after a while a bird started sing [sic] below curve. I think it may be same bird which as usually happens misjudged the playback position and flew well beyond me. Note that @ begin [sic] the voice sounds lower, but not as low as low-voiced bird, but after some time seems again to be ~ same as before playback (by ear and not in direct comparison). Unfortunately this bird could not be brought into view for collecting to check sex.
