Observation details
Call and song unfamiliar to me, but seems similar to recordings of Cordilleran type Westsern Flycatcher. Empidonax type flycatcher with relatively wide tail, held at downward angle; back gray, belly greenish yellow wash; two wing bars; white eye ring, back of eyering tapering to point; bill broader than hammonds, much like pac slope/cordilleran. yellow Lower mandible. Does not sound like pac slope I hear every day on west slope of cascade, song does sound like cordilleran recordings in Sibley. In ponderosa pines at site 23
