Observation details
Originally heard it singing non stop for about twenty minutes in trees in northwest corner of riparian area, adjacent to tracks. Red eye, greenish back, white supercilium with dark line through eye, very long bill. It ranged widely throughout the north and west sides of the park, but seemed to favor the far northern strip of vegetation by the bathrooms and tennis courts. It was extremely loud, and I would frequently hear it off in the distance while I was conducting my Bell's vireo survey. Relatively sluggish, it seemed to perch in one spot for minutes at a time, usually concealed, but occasionally out in the open.
