Observation details

Small heron with orange plumes on head, hind neck and back. Orange bill. It picked flies off the face of the black and white cow, which is very calm and seems to appreciate having the flies removed. Thank you Kate Derbyshire for finding and posting. Jax Nasimok respotted it on south side Hwy 48 with resting cows under the Quinn’s Marina sign.
