Observation details
At least, only a few seen in morning flight. Always much closer than the Razorbill flocks. In flight shorter wings and much more rapid wingbeats, dark underwings, in flight head very small almost like SSHA versus COHA (Razorbill), small bill not protruding much from the rounded head unlike Razorbills which the bill shows. Several other birds swam along the coast with the tides later in my time here including a group of two that would call to each other when reemerging from dives. Call a "ree" almost reminiscent of a Peacock.
