Observation details
!! Very skulky, though singing/calling frequently. Initially heard what sounded like an odd MAWR before the bird flushed and we got views of a smaller, more buffy wren. Considering the bird seemed to fit the criteria for SEWR, we tracked it down and got confirming views of the bird plus audio. Later, after we finished our point counts, we came back and a second bird flushed out of the grass while the first bird was simultaneously singing behind us. Audio and digibin pics tba. Seemed like the male was on territory, so potentially breeding at this site. Appears to be first YNP and Park County record. (45.0026882, -110.1889383)
