Observation details
One female seen flitting low along the ground. Overall pale, with a white throat, thin streaking on the upper breast, white breast, white tail feathers in flight, a fairly uniform facial pattern, and streaking along the mantle. Fairly reminiscent of North America's Savannah Sparrow. In addition to this one, seen well from up close, I saw two or three more white-tailed sierra finches flying around with Mourning Sierra Finches in the distance.
