NOTES: (Gen. Climate: Cyclic wet-dry.) The third bird can be heard. Many of these are playback stimulated and these are annotated. Indicator minor is attracted to the singing (as with L. torquatus in Kenya and Zambia). For displays see LLS field notebook. See LNS cuts 58807 and 58808. One tail cocks when it hears playback. Honeyguide with them. I minor interacting with the barbets. The cut sounds as if they were singing all this time and in response to playback; however, we were walking watching and stimulating [illegible word] we needed to locate them and watch displays. Other Behaviors: Advertise, Perform Visual Display.
