NOTES: Neotropical Institute Cut # 13. Bulk reel: 04 Weather: Fair. Several birds heard, none in direct focus. Then more with bird in direct focus for one song. Quality: 2. Level: +10. [Recordist did not indicate type of microphone used. He indicated that he used a parabola but did not specify make/model.] It is worth noting that this area @ Calle Larga is very dry (especially at this time @ end of dry season) and is not the ecological situation in which one would expect to find C. soui. It is more appropriate for C. noctivagus, which was present too, but very inactive vocally. Alejandro collected one of each sitting at the same spot. Note also that I found *these two species together* at the Mision Rio Tucuco, where it is much more humid than at Calle Larga (See also background of Cut 14 of Myiarchus tyrannulus for crescendo songs, etc.). Number of individuals=UU2+;.
