A male Oriole Warbler sings his loud song, first naturally, and then after playback, from the dense riparian along the Mole River at Mognori. The first cut is good; the second has confusing background sounds. Recorded using a Fostex FR-2LE with a Sennheiser ME62 & Telinga Universal 22" parabola.
Observation details
minimal spontaneous song, and only limited song RPB; eventually seen well by all as it foraged under a viney 10 m canopy above the river, gleaning insects from small branches and nodes;
