Observation details

Recording of Winter Wrens is one adult singing and several fledged young calling in response. We had walked along the trail not far from them when they flushed and saw 5 recently fledged young scatter, fanning out and away from us. No sign of tails! We stood and watched for a few minutes and observed the adult flying off, singing, and a few of the fledglings followed while calling. A highlight of our walk!
