Observation details
A minimum count of 10 Regents feeding on massive amounts of flowing Swamp Mahogany, no birds appear to have bands. Yellow, White & black honeyeater with the light redish coloured “warty face”. With the amount of movement & other birds also feeding it’s hard to get an exact count but an absoloute minimum of 10 individuals & possibly more. Seven in a tree in front of me while others heard calling nearby & 3 in another tree at the same time. In close company with Noisy friarbirds & truck loads of White-napped, Yellow faced & White-cheeked HE. Little wattlebirds & Yellow-tufted HE also present but in smaller numbers. Most Regents were calling which lead me to the spot, I’m extremely overwhelmed & excited at this find. A ridiculous amount of photos taken. Cheers to the other birders I know will be here very soon enjoy.
