NOTES: (Breeding Status: Territorial, breeding. Gen. Climate: Arid, cyclic wet-dry. Gen. Habitat: Bushed wooded grassland. Cover Density: Sparse, medium, thick.) Playback was ussed after the initial sequence with acuts response. We were seemingly at the edge of two breeding territories with an acute response. Playback was tried briefly then the response was acute. The males have an aerial display with a vocalization "pee hoo" uttered only at that time. Low frquency cut off at 220 Hz because of aircraft sounds. Other Behaviors: Mate. Habitat: Evergreen Forest, Deciduous Forest, Thicket/Brush.
