Observation details
1st species I saw when I got out of my car, sitting in middle of pond in front of deck/fishing platform. A handsome duck, lifer for me, thx to others who reported it. A green heron was briefly with it but in general, it seems pretty lonely :( Also of note, Google maps takes you to a side street in the neighborhood, go over to Byrd Avenue to get to the parking lot. Temp photo added will add others tonight. Textbook plumage with brown above and black belly, pinkish bill
