Observation details
Flushed in celery west of Connie Lake. Only seen in flight as plain greenish phylloscopus but it called a few times of which I was able to record a few. Call sounded lower and longer than borealis. Closer to a very fast rattle. With the call at ~3.25-~9kHz with distinct evenly spaced vertical elements which eliminates both borealis and xanthodryas. All specimens collected in the Near Islands that have been genetically identified have been of examinandus and no borealis have been documented sufficiently yet.
