Observation details
5-10 individuals considering some of the birds may have been a double count. At least 3-4 of them singing in the sky, making a wide circle over parachute wings, perhaps 30-40m up in the sky. Song is more deliberate, with space in between, but with rich mimicry (Prinias, White-throated Kingfisher, Red-wattled Lapwing, some squirrel, Purple Sunbird, Pied Bushchat etc). There is clearly a pause between one mimicry and the other, for half a second - that makes us think there are multiple birds (mimicked species) in the site. If they were a continuous song, we probably may not have felt it. They also sat on top of a plastic covered bike (right on the hand mirror) as well as on stones. One of them showed the full white outer tail while fanning and preening.
