Observation details
Two males singing back and forth for one series of vocalizations at 9:11 pm from the south and north edges of the field at top of Surry Hill. Shortly after this, saw two together on branch of large pine near the edge of field to the south (about 10 ft apart); one flew off soon after. One male singing intermittently from 8:51 to 9:15 pm from various locations in the woods bordering the large field, mostly on the south side, sometimes close to the field, sometimes further into the woods. Hunting at least through 9:30 pm, flying straight, low, and slow over field and also flycatching repeatedly from tree branch at edge of field. Very light wind (estimate 3-5 mph) and partly cloudy. Temperature, 65-70 f. Sunset was at 8:24 pm.
